Lady Rangers Set Out to Defend High Expectations

First-ever No. 1 preseason ranking in program history Aug. 12, 2024 – With the start of the 2024 regular season

Northwest posted a 21-2 overall record, earning back-to-back trips to the NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament

Northwest will depart for the tournament on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 a.m. from the soccer complex on the Senatobia campus.

The NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship tournament is scheduled for Nov. 12-18 at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson.

Harrell posted a clean sheet last week in wins against 13th-ranked Pearl River and Copiah-Lincoln.

With the win, Northwest also posted its 15th shutout of the season, leading all other NJCAA Division II programs.

Northwest checks in at No. 3 in the preseason NJCAA Division II rankings, which were released Monday afternoon.

The Northwest women’s soccer program has notched its first preseason national ranking of the 2023 season.
