Among those in the majors are All-Stars Adam Frazier, Brent Rooker, Jordan Westburg, and Brandon Woodruff, as well as World Series champion Nathaniel Lowe. MSU has produced 72 Major Leaguers, 13 All-Stars, seven World Series champions, and 20 first-round draft picks, including Rooker, Westburg, Justin Foscue, Will Bednar, Landon Sims, and Jurrangelo Cijntje.
In the majors, Foscue is with the Texas Rangers, hitting .255 with two home runs in 55 at-bats. Frazier, with the Los Angeles Angels, has a .215 batting average and scored 15 runs. Lowe, with the Cincinnati Reds, has a .256 average with nine home runs and 25 RBIs. Rooker, with the Oakland Athletics, is batting .195 with eight homers and 26 RBIs. Westburg, now with the Baltimore Orioles, is recovering from Tommy John surgery and is expected to miss the 2026 season.
Other notable alumni include Brandon Woodruff of the Milwaukee Brewers, who is on the injured list with shoulder inflammation, and J.T. Ginn of the Oakland Athletics, who earned a win against the Yankees in May. Several former Bulldogs are also competing in minor league affiliates across different levels, with performances tracked regularly on HailState.com.
Additional players such as Jake Mangum, Konnor Pilkington, and Khalen Stephen continue to develop in the minors, with some recent promotions and standout performances. Mississippi State officials continue to monitor and report on the progress of these athletes throughout the season.
