Ole Miss Football head coach Lane Kiffin announced on his Twitter Saturday morning that he had developed a breakthrough case of COVID-19.
Due to testing positive, he will miss the Rebels season opener in Atlanta on Monday against the Louisville Cardinals.
Kiffin and Ole Miss made headlines due to their efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the off-season in being among the first athletic teams in the country to reach a 100% vaccination rate.
