Burnett’s season was notable for her transfer from Missouri and her historic achievements at Ole Miss. She became the first SEC women’s 60-meter champion with a school-record time of 7.08 seconds. Overall, she finished her collegiate career as a five-time All-American, with 10 NCAA points, two SEC medals, and 18.5 conference points scored.
Her performances helped Ole Miss finish tied for 45th in the team standings with five points. The Rebels also had one male scorer, Jordan Urrutia, who placed eighth in the 200-meter dash. The season concludes for Ole Miss with upcoming competitions at the U.S. U20 Championships and the USATF Outdoor Championships in July.
