Ole Miss Women’s Golf Qualifies for 2026 NCAA Championship
The University of Mississippi women’s golf team earned a spot in the 2026 NCAA Championship after tying for fourth place at the Louisville Regional on Wednesday, according to school officials. The regional was held at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Kentucky.
The Rebels finished the three-day event with a team score of 862, led by a final-round 286. Their performance secured their passage to the national tournament, scheduled for May 22-27 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. This marks the seventh NCAA Championship appearance in program history, all under head coach Kory Henkes and within the past nine seasons.
Kajsalotta Svarvar paced Ole Miss with a third-place finish individually after shooting a 69 in the final round, finishing at eight under par for the event. Mary Miller shot two under on the day and finished at four under overall, tying for ninth. Matilda Björkman and Filippa Sundquist each shot 74 in the final round, ending at even par and tied for 26th. Sophie Linder contributed with a one-over performance to help boost the team’s overall result.
The 2026 NCAA Championship will feature 30 schools competing in 54 holes of stroke play. The top 15 teams and nine individuals from non-advancing teams will move on to a single day of stroke play, with the top eight teams advancing to match play to determine the national champion.
