Northwest Mississippi Community College Men’s Golf Leads at Ranger Invitational

TUNICA — The Northwest Mississippi Community College men’s golf team took the early lead during the first day of play at the Ranger Invitational on Monday.

The team played 36 holes at Tunica National Golf Course under challenging conditions, with the heat index surpassing 100 degrees. Despite the heat, the Rangers finished with their first team at five-over par, leading the ten-team field.

The school’s second team finished in eighth place out of the ten teams competing. The event marks the start of the 2026-27 season for the Raiders.
