The University of Mississippi women’s golf team has secured its 17th NCAA regional appearance, earning the No. 4 seed in the Simpsonville Regional, the NCAA and Golf Channel announced Wednesday. The regional will be held at the University of Louisville Golf Club from May 11-13.

This marks the Rebels’ eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and their sixth straight regional with a seed of No. 4 or better. Ole Miss’s bid was supported by six top-five finishes during the regular season and two team titles. Four players recorded at least one top-10 finish, with two achieving top-five placements.

Senior duo Kajsalotta Svarvar and Mary Miller have been the team’s leaders all season. Svarvar leads in scoring average with 71.58 and has played eight rounds in the 60s. Miller has the most rounds under par, with 13, and has four top-10 finishes individually. After 54 holes, the top five teams and the top individual from a non-advancing team will move on to the NCAA Championship, scheduled for May 22-27 at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.

The NCAA Championship will feature 30 teams and six individuals from non-qualifying teams. The Simpsonville Regional field includes Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Houston, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Indiana, College of Charleston, Xavier, Western Kentucky, and Murray State.
