Ole Miss Baseball Regional Game Suspended Until Sunday Due to Weather

LINCOLN, Neb. — Inclement weather in the area caused the suspension of Ole Miss’s NCAA regional baseball game against Nebraska in the top of the ninth inning, with the Rebels leading 6-3, according to the university’s athletics department.

The game will be resumed Sunday at noon, with gates opening at 11 a.m. Both of the originally scheduled games for Sunday will still be played. The loser of the suspended game will face Arizona State at 2 p.m., followed by the regional final at 7 p.m.

Ole Miss and Nebraska are competing in the Lincoln Regional, with the Rebels seeking advancement in the NCAA tournament. The regional is part of the postseason for college baseball, with the winner advancing to the super regionals.

The university’s athletics department confirmed the schedule changes and encouraged fans to stay updated through official channels. Weather delays are common during the postseason, and officials are monitoring conditions closely.
