Mississippi Valley State Volleyball Hosts Tri-Match Saturday

Mississippi Valley State University volleyball will make its 2026 home debut Saturday at the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex. The Delta Devils host a tri-match featuring Wiley University and Nicholls State University.

The event begins at 11 a.m. with Mississippi Valley State facing Wiley. Wiley and Nicholls State meet at 1 p.m., followed by MVSU against Nicholls at 3 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend and support the team during its first home matches of the season.

Mississippi Valley State enters the weekend after competing at the Betty Austin Invitational, hosted by Alabama A&M. The Delta Devils played three matches against Delaware State, South Carolina State, and Maryland Eastern Shore. Coaches say the early-season tournament helped the team develop chemistry and identify areas for improvement.

The team aims to build on that experience as they play in front of their home crowd for the first time this season. For updates and more information, fans can visit MVSUSports.com and follow MVSU Athletics on social media, including Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
