Mississippi State Announces Fall Softball Schedule Featuring Ole Miss Doubleheader

Mississippi State University has announced its fall softball schedule for 2026. The schedule includes a series of non-conference games and a doubleheader against rival Ole Miss.

The Bulldogs’ fall season kicks off with a scrimmage against Maroon & White on September 25 in Starkville at 5 p.m. The team will play additional games against Wallace State Community College, Itawamba Community College, Pearl River Community College, and Copiah-Lincoln Community College throughout October.

The highlight of the schedule is a doubleheader against Ole Miss on October 25, with games set for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Starkville. The Bulldogs will also participate in the Fall World Series on October 23.

All game times are listed in Central Time. Details about the schedule were announced Thursday by head coach Ricketts, who emphasized the importance of these fall matchups for team development ahead of the spring season.
