Mississippi State Adds Nigerian Forward Grace Ndubueze to Women’s Basketball Roster

Mississippi State women’s basketball coach Sam Purcell announced Thursday the signing of Grace Ndubueze, a 6-foot-4 forward from Imo State, Nigeria. Ndubueze becomes the 12th player and the ninth new addition to the Bulldogs’ roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Ndubueze most recently competed in FIBA 3×3 in Taipei this summer. She joins Favour Nwaedozi as the second Nigerian native on the team. Nwaedozi transferred to Mississippi State last season after a similar recruitment process.
