CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Jones College women’s soccer will start the 2026 season ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Preseason Poll, according to the NJCAA.
The Bobcats finished 14-6-2 last season and reached the semifinals of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. Head coach Dolores Deasley, in her 19th season, has led the team to seven MACCC championships, six NJCAA Region 23 titles, and an NJCAA Division II national championship. She has compiled a 234-60-13 record during her tenure, which is the longest in program history.
Other teams from the MACCC in the top 20 include No. 1 Northwest, No. 5 Holmes, No. 6 Gulf Coast, No. 9 Pearl River, and No. 20 Hinds. Jones College opens its season Thursday, August 20, against No. 2 Dallas College Brookhaven.
