The University of Mississippi men’s golf team finished 17th at the Inverness Intercollegiate held in Toledo, Ohio, according to a team release Tuesday. The Rebels shot an 11-over par 295 in the final round.
Collins Trolio led Ole Miss in the final round, carding an even-par 71 after overcoming early bogeys. Eduardo Matarazzo closed with a 2-over 73, finishing tied for 67th overall. Tomas Restrepo shot 75, ending the tournament in 83rd place.
Finn Meister and Cooper Claycomb each scored 76 in the last round. Claycomb, who finished tied for 36th, was the top Rebel performer for the event. Meister tied for 86th overall.
The Rebels are scheduled to compete next in Columbia, South Carolina, at the Bryan Bross Collegiate on September 28-29, according to the team’s schedule.
