Ole Miss Men’s Golf Finishes Second Round at Inverness Intercollegiate in 17th Place
TOLEDO, Ohio — The University of Mississippi men’s golf team, ranked 19th nationally, finished the second round of the Inverness Intercollegiate in 17th place, posting a team score of 23-over par, according to the school’s athletics website.
Cooper Claycomb led the Rebels, tying for 20th place after shooting a 3-over 74 in the round. Collins Trolio and Eduardo Matarazzo are tied for 69th, each carding scores of 5-over 76 and 6-over 77, respectively. Tomas Restrepo and Finn Meister both finished the day at 9-over par.
The Rebels are scheduled to conclude the tournament tomorrow with the final round. They will look to improve their standing in what is their second event of the season, following earlier competitions in September.
