SWAC Announces Participants for Football Media Day

The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced the student-athletes and coaches scheduled to participate in its annual SWAC Football Media Day on July 15 at the Sheraton Birmingham.

Mississippi Valley State University will be represented by head coach Terrell Buckley, quarterback Josh Brown, and defensive back Jamari Stokes. All 12 SWAC head coaches will also attend to speak with media and preview the upcoming season.

Brown, who has taken on a leadership role at quarterback, and Stokes, a key part of the Delta Devils’ defense, will be among the student-athletes representing MVSU. The event marks the official start of the conference’s football season, providing a platform for coaches and players to discuss their teams.
