Ole Miss Women’s Basketball Adds Three to 2026-27 Staff
Ole Miss women’s basketball head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin announced three staff changes Friday, including the addition of Adrienne Motley as assistant coach. The university also promoted Myah Taylor to assistant coach and on-campus recruiting coordinator, and Tyler Buckner to video coordinator.
Motley joins the Rebels after three seasons at Penn State, where she served as director of player development and later as assistant coach. She helped the Lady Lions reach the inaugural Final Four and secured their first top-10 win since 2012. Motley, a former All-ACC player at Miami, was drafted by the Indiana Fever in 2017 and has played professionally in Europe, earning multiple overseas honors.
“I am thrilled to have Adrienne join our program,” McPhee-McCuin said. “She is renowned at player development and has a sharp basketball mind. I look forward to her impacting our team.”
Myah Taylor, who has spent the past two seasons as Ole Miss’ coordinator of operations, was promoted to assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. A Mississippi native, Taylor played at Mississippi State and helped lead Ole Miss to its first Sweet 16 since 2007. She also played professionally in Hungary and Mexico.
“This is a full circle moment,” Taylor said. “From playing under Coach Yo to coaching with her, I am excited to grow and continue my journey here.”
Buckner, who has been a graduate assistant for two seasons, will assume the role of full-time video coordinator. He contributed to Ole Miss’s recent success, including a Sweet 16 appearance and three top-five wins last year. Buckner previously worked as a graduate assistant at Kennesaw State and as a student assistant at Tennessee State.
“Tyler has been an asset to our success,” McPhee-McCuin said. “His dependability and work ethic will continue to serve our program well.”
Ole Miss encourages fans to secure season tickets for 2026-27. The Rebels have made five consecutive NCAA tournaments and continue to improve. Follow Ole Miss women’s basketball on X, Facebook, and Instagram for updates.
