Ole Miss Soccer Secures 2-0 Shutout Win Over ULM

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss women’s soccer snapped a losing streak with a 2-0 victory over ULM on Sunday afternoon at Ole Miss Soccer Stadium, according to team officials.

Becca Skinner and Teaghan Irvin each scored in the first half to help the Rebels earn their fifth win of the season. Skinner opened the scoring in the 19th minute, assisted by Ava Ghoreishi, marking her second goal of the year. Irvin doubled the lead in the 43rd minute, off an assist from Isabelle Wright.

Ole Miss maintained pressure throughout the match, outshooting ULM 22-8 and placing 10 shots on goal. ULM managed only two shots on target. Rebel goalkeeper Anna Claire Jacobi earned her first collegiate win, making one save before halftime. Taylor Prigge added a save after entering in the second half.

The Rebels held a 58% possession advantage and continued to threaten ULM’s defense after halftime, although they couldn’t score further goals. ULM’s only second-half shot came in the 88th minute, saved by Prigge.

Ole Miss returns home Thursday to face South Alabama at 7 p.m. CT, streaming on SEC Network+.
