Ole Miss Highlights Chambliss, Lacy on Las Vegas Sphere in Breakthrough Branding Effort

The University of Mississippi is using the Sphere in Las Vegas to promote its football program and standout players Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy. The massive LED screen began displaying images of the two players at 11 a.m. CST on August 30, according to Ole Miss Football’s social media.

The activation coincides with the start of the 2026 season, which opens Sept. 6 against Louisville in Nashville. It aims to build momentum for Ole Miss and elevate the profile of Chambliss and Lacy, who are considered candidates for national awards, including the Heisman Trophy.

This marks the first time Ole Miss has showcased its student-athletes on the Sphere, which is known as the world’s largest LED display. The campaign complements a two-week billboard rollout in Times Square, part of the university’s broader efforts to promote its athletes globally.

Ole Miss Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Keith Carter said the campaign offers a unique branding opportunity. “Featuring our student-athletes on Sphere is a tremendous brand growth opportunity for Ole Miss,” he said. “Trinidad and Kewan are in the national conversation for major awards, and this activation allows us to share their stories with a worldwide audience.”

Fans can purchase their own promotional packages through olemissmemories.com. The campaign is part of Ole Miss’ larger H6I5MEN initiative, which includes signage and promotional materials recognizing Chambliss and Lacy.
