PEARL, Miss. — No. 25 Ole Miss Baseball (27-11, 8-7 SEC) defeated No. 22 Southern Miss (26-12, 8-7 SBC) 10-3 Tuesday night at Trustmark Park.

Bissetta’s 16th home run of the season came in the fourth inning, a shot to right-center. Southern Miss responded with a solo home run in the sixth, but Ole Miss answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning, including a bases-clearing double from Furniss to extend the lead to 10-1.

The Golden Eagles scored twice in the seventh, but strong relief pitching from Terry Hayes Jr. and Landon Waters sealed the victory for the Rebels. Ole Miss will next face Tennessee in a three-game series in Knoxville this weekend.
