Mississippi State Volleyball to Compete in 2026 Showdown at the Net

Mississippi State volleyball will participate in the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge, facing Wake Forest on September 8 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to an announcement from the school. The event features matches between ACC and SEC teams over September 8 and 9 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

This marks the second annual Showdown at the Net competition, with the first held in 2025. Last season, Mississippi State defeated Duke in five sets at home to secure the victory.

The challenge will include notable matchups such as Tennessee versus Pittsburgh and Texas A&M versus Stanford. A full schedule of the SEC/ACC Challenge includes games involving Georgia Tech, Florida State, Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina, and others, with matchups set for September 8 and 9.
