Mississippi State Opens Postseason at SEC Men’s Golf Championship

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — The Mississippi State men’s golf team kicked off its 2026 postseason Tuesday at the SEC Championship, held at Sea Island Golf Club. The Bulldogs are competing in the stroke play portion of the tournament on a 7,005-yard, par-70 course.

Mississippi State enters the event following a victory at the Mossy Oak Collegiate last week. The team will start play off the 10th hole at 8:15 a.m. Central Time. Live scoring is available on SCOREBOARD.

The Bulldogs’ lineup features Garrett Endicott, Dain Richie, Jackson Skinner, Ugo Malcor and Jackson Cook. Endicott, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, tied for fifth at Mossy Oak and has two top-five finishes this season. Richie, a graduate student from New Berlin, Illinois, claimed his first collegiate victory at Mossy Oak and has posted three consecutive top-20 finishes.

Freshman Jackson Skinner from Birmingham, Alabama, shot a bogey-free 2-under 70 in the final round at Mossy Oak, finishing in 23rd place. Ugo Malcor, a senior from La Baule, France, finished 11th at Mossy Oak and has two top-10 finishes this season. Freshman Jackson Cook from West Point, Mississippi, is making his third straight start and posted his best round as a Bulldog with a 1-under 71 at Mossy Oak.

Mississippi State’s next event is the SEC Championship, which runs through Wednesday. Fans can follow the team’s progress via live scoring and social media accounts under the handle “HailStateMG.”
