Millsaps Golf Completes Second Round at 2026 SAA Championships
The Millsaps College men’s and women’s golf teams completed the second round of the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Championships at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tennessee, on Saturday. Multiple players improved their standings as the tournament neared its final round.
Senior Steven Noack shot a 2-over 74, climbing six spots into a tie for 39th. Sophomore Charlie Berglund moved up five positions into a tie for 32nd after firing a 1-over 73, which included an eagle on the 17th hole. Junior Julius Kroell and sophomore Miles Harrison are both tied for 44th at plus-15 through two rounds. Kroell posted a 5-over 77, while Harrison scored an 87.
Fellow sophomores Jack Ritter and Noble Burns are 47th and 48th, respectively, with scores of 164 and 170. Ritter shot a 79 in the second round, while Burns posted an 87. On the women’s side, sophomore Abigail Cerwick is tied for 40th at plus-32 after rounds of 82 and 94.
The men’s team is in eighth place overall with a total score of 619, 43 strokes behind team leader No. 2 Sewanee, which shot a combined 557. The women’s team is in eighth place with a total of 672, behind leader No. 23 Sewanee, which finished with a 595 total.
