Millsaps Golf Teams Prepare for SAA Championships in Tennessee

Jackson, Miss. — The Millsaps College men’s and women’s golf teams are competing at the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Championships from April 24-26 at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tennessee. The event features three rounds over 54 holes and is hosted by Oglethorpe University.

On the women’s side, sophomore Abigail Cerwick leads the Majors. She began her season with a second-place finish at the Roger Lundy Alabama Invasion and has added three more top-20 finishes this year, according to team sources. Cerwick is aiming for her first SAA medal.

The men’s team features juniors Julius Kroell and Miles Harrison, sophomores Charlie Berglund and Noble Burns, senior Steven Noack, and freshman Jack Ritter. Kroell, in his first year, posted his best 18-hole score of 71 and finished T-19 at the Space City Classic. Harrison has played in every match and recorded his best three-round score (219) at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational. He also tied for ninth at the Rhodes Fall Invitational.

Berglund has competed in all contests this season, with his top performance being a 222 at the Space City Classic and a T-7 finish at the Belhaven Invitational. Noack has improved significantly, including a 3-under 69 at the Belhaven Invitational. Ritter, who joined the team this spring, has shot a best round of 76 and tied for 35th at the Cochran Collegiate. Burns played in his first collegiate tournaments this season, shooting a 75 at Cochran and tying for 30th at the Belhaven Invitational in October.
