Miles Harrison Leads Millsaps Golfers After First Round of SAA Championships

Dickson, Tenn. — The Millsaps men’s and women’s golf teams opened the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Championships on Friday at Greystone Golf Club.

Sophomore Miles Harrison led the Majors with a tie for 10th place after 18 holes, shooting even par at 72. He recorded four birdies during his round, according to team sources.

On the men’s side, sophomore Charlie Berglund tied for 37th at 6-over-par 78, while freshman Jack Ritter was one stroke behind in a tie for 40th at 7-over 79. Senior Steven Noack finished in a tie for 45th at 9-over 81, and junior Julius Kroell was 47th at 10-over 82. Sophomore Noble Burns was 48th at 11-over 83.

In the women’s competition, sophomore Abigail Cerwick tied for 25th at 10-over 82 on the par-72 course.

The teams will resume play Saturday at 7:30 a.m. for the second round. Fans can follow updates on Millsaps athletics via social media or the school’s official website.
