Millsaps Golf Student-Athletes Earn CSC All-District Honors
GREENWOOD, Ind. — Four Millsaps College golf student-athletes received recognition on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s At-Large Teams, the organization announced Tuesday.
On the women’s side, sophomore Abigail Cerwick was recognized for the first time in her collegiate career. The Helena, Alabama, native maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA while excelling on the course. She was named to the SAA Women’s Golf All-Sportsmanship Team and finished her season with the best three-round total of her college career at plus-36 at the Southern Athletic Association Championships in April.
On the men’s team, sophomore Charlie Berglund, junior Julius Kroell and senior Steven Noack earned honors. Berglund, a health and exercise science major with a 3.88 GPA, was named SAA Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week in October. He posted a career-best 149 (+5) at the SAA Fall Championships, tying for seventh place. Berglund also made the All-SAA Team and the Dean’s List for his academic achievements.
Kroell, a transfer from Doane University, earned a 3.59 GPA as a business administration major. The Munich native recorded a career-best 71 in the final round of the Space City Classic in March and improved his placement at the SAA Championships by nine spots, finishing tied for 35th overall. Noack, an accounting major with a 3.67 GPA, graduated this spring and was recognized on the SAA All-Sportsmanship Team. He finished 35th at the conference championships.
These student-athletes competed throughout the 2025-26 season in both fall and spring semesters, balancing academics and athletics. The CSC All-District teams honor top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic performances. The All-America® teams will be announced in July, with separate releases for men and women across NCAA divisions and NAIA programs. For more information, visit AcademicAllAmerica.com.
