Twenty Northwest Mississippi Rangers Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
GREENWOOD, Miss. — Twenty student-athletes from Northwest Mississippi Community College have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® College Division At-Large teams, according to a news release from the college.
The award recognizes top student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. Nominees must be sophomores with a minimum 3.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Seven football players from the 2025 Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference championship team were honored, along with five members of the national champion NJCAA Division II women’s soccer team. The list also includes players from softball, tennis, volleyball, baseball, and men’s soccer teams.
Northwest’s honorees include 10 women and 10 men. The women’s team features Ann Marie Barton, Ruby Barton, Catelyn Brown, Carleigh Calarco, Allison Carroll, Meg Daves, Caroline Hamm, Emma Jensen, Claudia Lopez Chaparro, and Aven Mathis. The men’s team includes Holden Cooke, Rase Jones, Marion Keyes, Jordan Knox, Reginhard Pierre-Nau, Dre Riley, John Whit Snopek, Tyler Starnes, Jerry Wall III, and Nate Walker, among others. The awards will be considered for the CSC All-America® ballot, with winners announced July 7, 2026.
CSC’s program recognizes at-large honorees across five divisions, including NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and the College Division, which encompasses two-year colleges, Canadian institutions, and others outside NCAA and NAIA affiliations. For more information, visit academicallamerica.com.
