Jackson State University has unveiled its women’s soccer schedule for the 2026 season. The Tigers will play 20 matches, including 10 at home and 10 away, according to school officials.
Last season, Jackson State finished with a 9-7-3 record and claimed the Southwestern Athletic Conference regular-season title. The team reached the conference tournament final but fell short of the championship game.
The season kicks off Aug. 12 at home against Mercer. The team will then travel to McNeese State on Aug. 20 and face Louisiana-Monroe on Aug. 23 before returning home to host Tougaloo College on Aug. 30. The Tigers will also face SEC opponent Arkansas on the road Sept. 4.
Jackson State’s non-conference schedule includes home games against Delta State on Sept. 13, and Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 18 and 20, respectively. The team opens SWAC play at home against Southern University on Sept. 27, followed by away matches at Grambling State and Arkansas Pine-Bluff in early October.
The Tigers will host Alabama A&M on Oct. 18 and Alcorn State on Oct. 22, then travel to Prairie View A&M and Alabama State in late October and early November. The regular season concludes Nov. 5 at home against Texas Southern. The SWAC tournament is scheduled for Nov. 5-8 at Prairie View A&M.
