ELLISVILLE, Miss. — Four members of the Jones College men’s soccer team have signed to play at senior colleges, the school announced Tuesday. Eskil Instebø, Andrew Pearce, Tripp Alexander and Matt Reed all made their decisions earlier this week.

Since 2018, 35 Bobcats have signed with four-year schools, the school said. Instebø, a midfielder from Bergen, Norway, was named to the All-MACCC Second Team this season. He started all 37 games during his two years at Jones, scoring one goal with two assists. Instebø also helped a defense that allowed just 0.77 goals per game and was named a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American. He also made the NJCAA All-Academic Third Team and was a two-time member of the school’s academic honor roll.

Pearce, a defender from Forrest County AHS, played in 16 games over two seasons. He scored two goals and had one assist. Pearce contributed to a defense that allowed only 17 goals in 2025. He was named to the NJCAA All-Academic First Team, the Distinguished Academic All-MACCC, and was a two-time member of the school’s President’s List.

Alexander, also a defender from Gulfport, appeared in 15 games over his two-year career. He helped Jones record 10 shutouts this season. Alexander was named to the NJCAA All-Academic First Team and the Distinguished Academic All-MACCC, and he was a two-time member of the school’s President’s List.

Reed, a forward from Solihull, England, earned NJCAA All-American Third Team honors and was named a United Soccer Coaches All-American. He led the team with 19 goals and nine game-winners in 2025. Reed added nine assists and finished with 47 points, ranking second in goals and points in the MACCC and ninth in NJCAA Division II. He scored a season-high four goals in a 6-1 victory over Northwest on Oct. 21. Reed was also named to the All-MACCC Second Team in 2024, when he scored 11 goals and added five assists.

Jones finished the 2025 season with a 16-3-3 record and advanced to the NJCAA Division II Tournament, the school said.
