Coahoma Community College Announces 2026 Football Schedule
CLARKSDALE, Miss. — Coahoma Community College has announced its 2026 football schedule, consisting of 10 games. The Tigers will host five home games and play five away against Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference opponents, according to a school news release.
Head coach Larry Williams, in his second year leading the team, emphasized the importance of blending new talent with returning veterans. “We have a demanding schedule ahead of us, but our staff has infused this program with a strong signing class that has been putting in the work all offseason,” Williams said. “Entering my second year, the foundation of this program is stronger. We are taking a ‘built by brotherhood’ approach to every game, and we are ready to compete at a high level.”
The Tigers open the season on the road against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. Their home opener is scheduled for Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. against Jones College at James E. Miller Stadium. The season’s highlight is the homecoming game set for Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. against Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Additional home games include contests against Itawamba Community College on Sept. 24, East Mississippi Community College on Oct. 8, and Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Oct. 29. The team will hit the road for away games at East Central Community College on Sept. 10, Holmes Community College on Sept. 17, Northwest Mississippi Community College on Oct. 1, and Mississippi Delta Community College on Oct. 15.
