Hickory Flat headed to tournament final looking for second straight title

The Lady Rebels of Hickory Flat defeated Myrtle in convincing fashion at the 2-1A tournament on Thursday to set up a chance for back to back district championships.

The Lady Rebels jumped out to an 18-6 first quarter advantage and never trailed in the contest en route to a 62-41 victory.

Hickory Flat was led in scoring by R’Daztiny Harris with 21. Laney Teel has 16 and Marrie Simmons contributes 15.

They are back in action on Friday in the championship contest against West Union.
