Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Continues at ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Ole Miss men’s tennis continued its run at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Sunday. The Rebels competed in singles and doubles qualifying matches throughout the day.

In doubles, Kai Milburn and Igor Kudriashov faced Penn’s Shaurya Bhardwaj and Vojtech in the Round of 32. The Rebels won the first set in a tiebreak but lost the second. The match was decided by a 10-point super tiebreak, with the Penn duo emerging victorious, 13-11.

In singles, Kudriashov played UCLA’s Andy Nguyen in the Round of 64. Nguyen defeated Kudriashov in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Ole Miss continues its participation at the tournament throughout the week as the Rebels aim to advance further in Tulsa.

The ITA All-American Championships bring together top collegiate players, with Ole Miss competing against nationally ranked opponents. The Rebels’ next matches are scheduled for the upcoming days as they seek to improve their standings in the tournament.
