Kudernatsch, Pampanin Advance in ITA All-American Doubles

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — The Ole Miss men’s tennis team advanced in the doubles draw at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships on Wednesday, with Moritz Kudernatsch and Pietro Pampanin securing a victory at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The senior duo defeated Penn’s Shaurya Bhardwaj and Vojtech Vales in the Round of 32, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5. Kudernatsch and Pampanin won the opening set in a tiebreak before closing out the match with a straight-sets victory.

The Rebels will continue competing throughout the week at the tournament in Tulsa, seeking further progress in the singles and doubles brackets. The team has already seen success at the event, which features top collegiate players from across the country.
