Ole Miss Duo Kudernatsch, Pampanin Reach ITA All-American Quarterfinals

TULSA, Okla. — Ole Miss men’s tennis players Moritz Kudernatsch and Pietro Pampanin advanced to the quarterfinals of the doubles main draw at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships on Thursday.

The Rebels duo defeated Notre Dame’s Luis Saracho Llorens and Peter Nad in a three-set match, 5-7, 7-5, 1-0 (10-3). Kudernatsch and Pampanin dropped the first set but rallied to win the second and dominated the match tiebreak to secure their spot in the quarterfinals.

The Ole Miss team continues competition at the tournament in Tulsa. The event features top college tennis players from across the country as part of the ITA national championships.

Upcoming matches include the ITF Fayetteville event scheduled for Sept. 28. The Rebels have shown strong performance early in the season with several players advancing in singles and doubles play at various tournaments.
