Expect lots of empty seats for State, Ole Miss this weekend

If secondary ticket prices are any indication, there could be quite a few empty seats at both Davis Wade and Vaught Hemingway this weekend.

Despite MSU hosting and SEC opponent in Kentucky and Ole Miss playing host to top-25 Cal, tickets for this weekend are in the single digits.

On StubHub, six bucks will get you in to see Mississippi State. For seven dollars you can take in a game in Oxford.

Early starts, heat and a lackluster start to both teams season aside these are really big games for both programs.

MSU is favored by roughly a touchdows. Ole Miss by a field goal. Maybe it’s a good opportunity to see Power 5 football…and a win…on the cheap?
