The Golden Eagles (4-3-2, 1-1 SBC) are coming off a 1-0 victory Thursday at Arkansas State. Lorilee Taylor scored her second goal of the season in the 32nd minute, helping Southern Miss secure its first Sun Belt win of the season. The team has recorded three clean sheets through nine matches and has scored 18 goals overall.
Southern Miss coach Danny Owens’ squad has shown offensive balance, with Ava Bynes leading with four goals, two assists, and 10 points. Taylor and Ryan Smith each have six points, with two goals and two assists, while Olivia Tribolet has contributed two goals and an assist.
