HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Southern Miss women’s soccer has unveiled its promotional schedule for the 2026 season, including themed game days and fan engagement activities. The season kicks off with the home opener against Southeastern on Thursday, August 27, at 4 p.m., with giveaways of schedule posters and bracelets.
The Golden Eagles will host eight home matches with various themes and in-game entertainment. Soccer Bingo returns on September 3 against Jacksonville State, with bingo cards distributed at the marketing table and prizes for three winners.
On September 6, during the match against Southern, fans can participate in Sidekicks Sunday, which features coloring sheets, chalk, and post-game autographs. The conference schedule begins on September 18 against James Madison, with a Greek Night theme. International Day on September 27 against Louisiana Tech will celebrate international students with a halftime ceremony and soccer scarves.
October features three special themed events. The October 3 match against Louisiana Tech will honor Breast Cancer Awareness with a pregame recognition and giveaways. Senior Day on October 11 against Troy will include a Fall Festival and Club Day, with pumpkin painting and sack races at halftime. The Halloween game on October 25 against Georgia Southern will have spooky halftime entertainment, candy distribution by Seymour, and a trunk-or-treat autograph session.
