The University of Southern Mississippi has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026 volleyball season. The Golden Eagles will host 12 matches at the Southern Miss Wellness Center, beginning with an exhibition game against Nicholls on Aug. 22.
Season tickets are available for $65, covering all home matches and neutral-site tournament games at the Wellness Center. Fans can purchase tickets online at SouthernMiss.com/Tickets, by calling the ticket office at 1-800-844-TICK, or in person at the Pat Ferlise Center on campus, according to university officials.
The team will hold a variety of giveaways and themed nights throughout the season. Promotions start with the Aug. 22 exhibition, where fans will receive free admission and a Black Eagle Head koozie. Other events include military appreciation, Faculty/Staff Night, Pink Out, and Senior Night, with giveaways such as shirts, bracelets, and pom-poms. Several nights will feature autograph sessions, halftime contests, and community engagement activities.
Additional promotional nights include Hometown Heroes Night on Sept. 11, a Greek Night on Oct. 2, and a Toys for Tots drive during the Nov. 6 match against South Alabama. The schedule also features throwback themes and homecoming celebrations in October. The full list of promotions is available on the university’s website.
Southern Miss volleyball coach Jenny Hazelwood said the promotional events are designed to enhance fan experience and build community support for the team. The Golden Eagles aim to improve upon last season’s performance with enthusiastic home crowds.
