Mississippi Christian University Names Griffin Fleming Director of Fan Engagement
CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi Christian University announced the hiring of Griffin Fleming as its new Director of Fan Engagement. The full-time role aims to improve the game-day atmosphere, strengthen community ties, and expand the university’s fan initiatives, according to an MC athletics news release.
Fleming previously served as a graduate assistant for fan engagement during the 2025-26 academic year and led the MC Golden Girls dance team. In that role, she contributed to increasing game-day attendance, student involvement, and promotional activities across multiple sports.
As director, Fleming will oversee programs such as the Choctaw Rewards, coordinate promotions and theme nights, develop engagement opportunities for students and the community, organize special events, and collaborate with local businesses and vendors. She will also work closely with MC’s spirit squads to enhance the game-day experience for fans of all ages.
Fleming will continue her role as head coach of the MC Golden Girls. Mississippi College Athletic Director Kenny Bizot praised Fleming’s energy and creativity. “Griffin can make a significant impact on our campus and within our athletic department,” Bizot said. “Her passion for people aligns with our vision, and we’re excited to see her grow this role.”
A graduate of Mississippi College, Fleming is familiar with the university’s traditions and values. “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this new capacity,” Fleming said. “MC feels like home, and I am passionate about creating memorable experiences that bring people together at our athletic events.”
Her appointment underscores MC Athletics’ commitment to enhancing the student-athlete and fan experience while strengthening community connections, according to MC Athletic Communications Director Blake Weir. “Fan engagement is vital to collegiate athletics, and Griffin is ideal to lead those efforts,” Weir said. “She understands our community and is dedicated to making every event memorable.”
