Ole Miss Women’s Tennis Signs Alice Battesti for 2026-27 Season
Ole Miss women’s tennis announced the addition of Alice Battesti for the 2026-27 season, continuing its roster reload under head coach Grant Roberts. The team welcomed Battesti, who will transfer from Auburn after two seasons, on Wednesday.
Hailing from Ajaccio, France, Battesti posted a 15-4 singles record last season, playing on courts four, five, and six. She also recorded nine dual-match singles wins, according to the university.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Alice to Oxford,” Roberts said. “She is an outstanding player and an exceptional person whose character and work ethic align perfectly with our culture. We are confident she will make a positive impact from day one.”
Battesti joins Léna Thomas Iglesias as the second transfer addition to the roster, which includes returners Riley Crowder, Ichino Horikawa, Andrea Nova, Alice Soulié, and Owen Wilkinson. Ole Miss currently has seven student-athletes on its 2026-27 roster.
The Rebels continue to build their team ahead of the season, which promises to feature a competitive slate of matches. Fans can follow the team on social media at @OleMissWTennis on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
