Ole Miss Women’s Golf Finishes Day Two at NCAA Regional in Sixth Place

SIMpsonville, Ky. — The University of Mississippi women’s golf team, ranked No. 19, finished day two of the NCAA Louisville Regional with a team score of 287. The Rebels are seven under par across the first two rounds and sit in sixth place, heading into the final round Wednesday.

Matilda Björkman led Ole Miss with a 68, four under par, after birdieing three of her last four holes. Kajsalotta Svarvar remained among the top individual competitors with an even 72. Mary Miller shot a 73, including three birdies on the back nine, which kept her tied for 20th and under par overall.

Filippa Sundquist scored a 74, while Nicole Gal shot a 75. The Rebels are scheduled to tee off at 7 a.m. CT in the final round. The top five teams in the regional will advance to the NCAA Championship in Carlsbad, California.
