Ole Miss Men’s Golfers Tom Fischer, Cameron Tankersley, Cohen Trolio Named to PING All-Region Team

Ole Miss men’s golfers Tom Fischer, Cameron Tankersley, and Cohen Trolio have been named to the 2026 PING All-Region team, the university announced Saturday. The trio has led the Rebels through a successful season, which culminated in winning the 2026 SEC Championship and achieving a ninth-place national ranking, according to the team.

Fischer, a senior, has received multiple honors, including SEC First Team selection and a finalist spot for the Haskins Award. He is ranked No. 13 by PGA TOUR U and No. 23 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Fischer leads Ole Miss with a 69.64 scoring average, 24 rounds under par, and 134 birdies.

Tankersley, also a senior, is ranked No. 15 by PGA TOUR U and No. 36 in the WAGR. He helped secure a spot in the NCAA Championship with a second-place finish at the Winston-Salem Regional, shooting 16 under par in the three-round tournament, the second-best in school history. This performance marked his fourth top-five finish this season.

Trolio, another senior, has four top-10 finishes this season, including a career-best third place at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate and a strong showing at the SEC Championship. He maintains an average of 70.79 strokes per round, ranking among the team’s top performers. All three players have been instrumental in Ole Miss’s successful season, which includes numerous tournament appearances and postseason play.
