Ole Miss Men’s Golf Players Tom Fischer, Cameron Tankersley Named to PING All-America Teams

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss men’s golfers Tom Fischer and Cameron Tankersley have been recognized on the PING All-America teams, the school announced Wednesday. Fischer was named to the second team, while Tankersley received third-team honors.

Fischer finished the 2025-26 season with a career-best 70.06 stroke average, the fifth-lowest in school history. He recorded 28 rounds at par or better, tied for third-most in Ole Miss history. This is Fischer’s second consecutive All-America selection, making him the sixth player in program history to earn the honor more than once. He is the 14th All-American in school history.

Tankersley, a senior, capped his standout season with a second-place finish at the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional, shooting 16 under par. It marked the second-best three-round score in school history. He advanced to the fourth day of stroke play at the NCAA Championship, competing for an individual national title. His season stroke average was 70.43, among the best in school history. He also recorded 15 rounds in the 60s, the fourth-most in a single season at Ole Miss.
