The University of Mississippi men’s golf team has been named to the Platform Golf All-Academic Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), the organization announced Wednesday. The Rebels posted a team GPA of 3.2 during the 2025-26 season, surpassing the minimum requirement of 3.0 for the honor.
Senior leaders Tom Fischer and Cohen Trolio led the team in academics, both finishing the year with GPAs well above 3.0. They were also recognized as 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for their academic achievements.
On the course, Ole Miss enjoyed a historic season. The team secured its second SEC Championship, the first since 1984. They also finished in the top five in 11 tournaments and produced two All-Americans, Fischer and Cameron Tankersley.
