Ole Miss Golfer Kajsalotta Svarvar Finishes Top 20 at NCAA Championship

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Ole Miss sophomore Kajsalotta Svarvar finished in a tie for 18th place at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship held at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa on Monday, according to the university.

Svarvar shot a 77 in the final round of stroke play, ending the four-day event at one under par. She had opened the tournament with back-to-back three-under-par scores on Friday and Saturday and secured her spot in the final day with a 72 on Sunday.

During the team portion of the competition, Svarvar’s total of 210 strokes over 54 holes marked the lowest by a Rebel at the NCAA Championship in program history, according to Ole Miss athletics. Her season stroke average of 71.40 ranks as the sixth-best since 2003-04. She finished her sophomore year with four top-five finishes, five in the top 10, and seven in the top 20.

Svarvar’s performance contributed to Ole Miss’s strong showing at the national tournament, which concluded Monday. The Rebels competed against the nation’s top teams at the prestigious event, with the final rounds determining individual and team champions.
