MVSU Football Reveals 2026 Home Game Themes and Fan Colors
Mississippi Valley State University has unveiled the themes and fan colors for its five home football games during the 2026 season at Rice-Totten Stadium. The schedule kicks off on Sept. 19 with the Delta Classic against Delta State, featuring a White Out where fans are encouraged to wear white.
The Delta Devils will host Prairie View A&M on Oct. 3 for the Health & Wellness Game, with fans asked to wear pink in support of health awareness initiatives. Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 17 against Bethune-Cookman, with supporters encouraged to wear green and white.
The Oct. 31 game against Alcorn State marks the return of the historic rivalry dubbed “The Game of the Century.” The matchup commemorates the 1984 contest that drew more than 63,000 fans and featured stars like Willie “Satellite” Totten and Jerry Rice. Fans are invited to wear red for a Red Out.
The season concludes on Nov. 21 with Alabama A&M, designated as the First Responders and Military Appreciation Game and Senior Day. The theme for this game is “Fatigue,” with supporters encouraged to wear camouflage or military-inspired attire, honoring service members and first responders.
Mississippi Valley State encourages fans to arrive early, wear the designated colors, and help create an energetic home-field atmosphere.
