Mississippi State announces 2026 football season theme days and ticket info

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State has unveiled its plans for the 2026 football season, including themed game days and ticket sales. Fans are encouraged to wear specific colors to support the Bulldogs at Davis Wade Stadium.

The season kicks off on Sept. 5 with the first Saturday in StarkVegas, when MSU hosts ULM. Supporters are asked to wear maroon or white for the opener, which is part of the ongoing tradition of creating a hostile environment for visiting teams.

Season tickets are available now, and single-game tickets will be released soon, according to university officials. The first game ticket packages go on sale May 18, with special four-packs for the opener.

Additional themed game days include a White Out against Missouri on Sept. 26, a Stripe Out against Alabama on Oct. 3, and a Black Out against Oklahoma on Oct. 24. Fans are advised that specific seating sections will have designated colors, and details will be announced at a later date.

The Bulldogs will also celebrate Homecoming on Nov. 7 against Vanderbilt, with fans asked to wear maroon, and Military Appreciation Day on Nov. 14 when MSU hosts Auburn, also encouraging maroon attire.

The regular season concludes with Senior Day on Nov. 21 versus Tennessee Tech, where fans are again asked to wear maroon or white. The season promises to be packed with energetic, color-coordinated crowds to support the team throughout the campaign.

For more information on ticket sales and game day themes, fans are encouraged to check the university’s official athletic website.
