Mississippi Valley State Athletics Highlights Busy Week of Fall Sports
Mississippi Valley State University athletics continues its fall season with a busy schedule. The volleyball, cross country, and football programs are competing across three states, according to the school.
The MVSU volleyball team is participating in the Bulldog Bash in Ruston, Louisiana. They face Northwestern State at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, then play Louisiana Tech at 6:30 p.m. Friday, and ULM at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. The tournament is hosted by Louisiana Tech.
The cross country team returns to action Friday, Sept. 11, at the Alabama A&M Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama. The meet offers an early-season opportunity to compete against regional teams and build momentum.
Meanwhile, the football team travels to Chicago to participate in the Chicago Football Classic. The Delta Devils will face Lincoln University of Pennsylvania at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. The event highlights HBCU football, academics, and culture on a national stage.
