Mississippi State’s Noah Sullivan Wins Second Straight Academic All-American of the Year Award
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State graduate designated hitter Noah Sullivan has been named Division I Academic All-American of the Year for the second straight year, college sports officials announced Thursday.
Selected by College Sports Communicators, Sullivan earned the honor based on his accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. He previously received the award in 2025 and was a first-team Academic All-American this season. Sullivan posted a 4.0 GPA as a graduate student majoring in organizational leadership. The Orlando, Florida native also maintained a perfect GPA last year in workforce education leadership.
Sullivan is the 20th Mississippi State player to be named to the CSC Academic All-America team, giving the program 26 total honors since 1971. This season, he started 54 games as a designated hitter and three at first base. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound player hit .342 with 75 hits, 14 doubles, 13 home runs, 46 RBIs and a team-high .451 on-base percentage. He also stole 10 bases in 12 attempts.
During his two seasons at Mississippi State, Sullivan’s .463 on-base percentage ranks third in school history among players with 300 or more at-bats. He is a two-time National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association first-team All-American, a two-time All-South Region first-team selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association, and was named to the All-SEC first team this spring, according to university sources.
