STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State men’s golf team has qualified for the NCAA Tournament as the No. 7 seed in the Bermuda Run Regional, marking its eighth consecutive appearance in the NCAA postseason. The Bulldogs will compete at Bermuda Run Country Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, from May 18-20.
The top five teams from the regional will advance to the national championship in Carlsbad, California. Mississippi State is among 14 teams competing, including top-ranked Virginia, Ole Miss, Pepperdine, Georgia Tech, and Southern California, according to the NCAA.
Head coach Dusty Smith expressed pride in his team’s consistency.
