Ole Miss Men’s Golf Earns No. 2 Seed in NCAA Bermuda Run Regional

The University of Mississippi men’s golf team has earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Bermuda Run Regional, set for May 18-20 at Bermuda Run Country Club. The Rebels, ranked No. 10 nationally, secured their 18th NCAA regional appearance and ninth consecutive under head coach Chris Malloy, according to an announcement Wednesday by the NCAA and Golf Channel.

Ole Miss advances to the regional for the 10th time in 12 seasons under Malloy, who is also the team’s alum. The Rebels have recorded nine top-five finishes and three team titles during the 2025-26 season, including their second SEC Championship and first since 1984. The team boasts five players with at least one top-10 finish, including three seniors — Tom Fischer, Cameron Tankersley and Cohen Trolio — all ranked inside the top 55 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings and the top 20 of PGA TOUR U.

The regional will determine the field for the NCAA Championship, scheduled for May 29 to June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. The top five teams and the top individual from non-qualifying teams will advance. The NCAA Championship will feature 30 teams and six individuals from non-qualifying teams.

Ole Miss has maintained a strong presence on the national stage, with coach Malloy leading the team to consistent postseason appearances. Fans can follow updates on X (formerly Twitter) at @OleMissMGolf and on social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
